Opened in 1926 as the first public corridor across the continent, Route 66 is now all about nostalgia and classic Americana. Spanning 2,448 miles, 8 states and 3 time zones, Route 66 – America’s Mother Road, as it is affectionately called – takes you from the shores of Lake Michigan in Chicago, Illinois across the United States to the Pacific Ocean in Santa Monica, California.

From time-capsule towns and neon signs to vast landscapes and natural wonders – you’ll get all of the Mother Road’s highlights on this 2-week trip traversing the original, historic drive.

Start in Chicago and end in Santa Monica, stopping in multiple towns and locations along the way, experiencing the legendary drive that millions have made in search of fun, freedom and the wide, open road.
