National Geographic Quest

Crafted for close encounters in wild places, the National Geographic Quest is a nimble 100-passenger ship built specifically for expedition cruising.

With a shallow draft and state-of-the-art landing platform, she can access secluded bays, glacial fjords and remote island beaches that larger ships can’t reach.

Onboard, the vibe is polished but unfussy: light-filled social spaces, wraparound decks (allowing for easy wildlife tracking) and a lounge that doubles as an expedition hub, where naturalists and guest experts bring each destination to life.

All 50 cabins come with large windows, well-designed storage and modern marine-style ensuites; select cabins include balconies or connecting doors for families.

Dining is sustainably minded, with an emphasis on regional ingredients and relaxed open seating.

Purposeful, welcoming and deeply connected to its environment: the Quest is expedition cruising as it should be.

About National Geographic Lindblad Expeditions

Travelling with National Geographic-Lindblad in Alaska offers a deeper and more immersive way to experience the region. Their range of expedition ships allow access to remote bays, narrow channels and wildlife-rich coastlines beyond the reach of larger vessels, while daily Zodiac excursions, kayaking opportunities and guided walks bring guests closer to the natural environment.

A team of experienced naturalists and expedition staff provide expert insight throughout the voyage, and the National Geographic partnership adds an extra dimension through specialist knowledge, photography expertise and a strong focus on learning and discovery. The result is an experience that combines adventure, wildlife encounters and a richer understanding of Alaska’s landscapes, ecology and cultural heritage.
