Bo standing over the Grand Canyon

Bo Lennartson

Director

Bo is passionate about travel and has lived and worked in Kenya, Portugal, Cyprus and Somalia. Highlights from his extensive globe-trotting include watching the fireflies in complete darkness on a river in Borneo with an electric storm brewing overhead, and seeing the rising sun reveal thousands of animals on the Masai Mara.

Bo knows several areas of North America and has visited Florida, the East Coast, Niagara Falls, Las Vegas and the Grand Canyon. Seeing the majestic Niagara Falls from the Canadian side was a highlight, but the most memorable experience was a helicopter flight over Hoover Dam and the Grand Canyon before spending a night in a lodge on the rim, then watching the sun rise over the canyon. A truly magical and humbling experience.

What are your Destination Highlights?

THE GRAND CANYON
This is one of the most famous national parks in the US and certainly doesn’t disappoint. Nothing can prepare you for the sheer size of the canyon and you’ll never tire of it.

LAS VEGAS
The crazy city in the middle of the desert is certainly worth a visit, even if you’re not a gambler. Walking up and down the strip is always an experience, and don’t forget to watch a show.

KEY WEST
Driving down to Key West is a must if you’re in southern Florida. It’s a long but beautiful drive to Key West, a mere 96 miles from Cuba. Watching the sunset from Mallory Square or enjoying a delicious seafood meal in a romantic restaurant, Key West is bound to captivate you.

What is your favourite...?

PLACE
If I have to pick one, it has to be the Grand Canyon. A place where you can simply look at the canyon in awe or hike along the countless trails or go for a thrilling helicopter ride.

HOTEL
For the location, El Tovar Hotel in the Grand Canyon. It’s on the rim of the canyon with unrivalled views over the south rim. For something more exclusive and elegant, try MGM Grand in Las Vegas, one of the largest hotels in the world with almost 7,000 rooms.

EXCURSION
Flying over the Las Vegas strip and heading towards Hoover Dam and the Grand Canyon. You can really appreciate the size of the canyon from above.
