Hotel Nelligan

Hotel Nelligan sits in the heart of Old Montreal and was named after the famous Quebec poet Emile Nelligan, whose verses adorn the walls of the rooms and suites. A charming spot with the atmosphere to match, it blends historic, century-old buildings with original stone and brick walls, wood beams and arched windows.

Each room features a fireplace, a minibar and a marble bathroom with rain shower and whirlpool tub. Some rooms also have balconies with views of the cobblestone streets or the St Lawrence River below. Montreal is a beautiful city and there’s nowhere better to admire it than the hotel’s rooftop terrace, Terrasse Nelligan, a popular spot for enjoying cocktails and panoramic views.

The hotel’s restaurant, Verses, serves contemporary French cuisine. Afterwards, pop to the bar, VersesBar, or the brasserie, Méchant Boeuf, for live music.
