Taos Guided Stargazing
Meet your guide beneath New Mexico’s famously dark skies for a close-up look at the universe.
New Mexico’s high desert is one of the best places in the country for stargazing, and this 90-minute experience makes the most of it. You’ll meet your local guide and astronomer near the Rio Grande Gorge Bridge, well away from any city light, as the desert cools and the sky overhead fills in with stars.
Using a telescope and laser-guided interpretations, your guide will walk you through constellations, planets, star clusters, and distant galaxies, translating the night sky into something you can actually follow rather than just admire from a distance.
It’s a peaceful, unhurried couple of hours – equal parts science lesson and never-ending wonder – and a lovely way to end a day in Taos.
