A gateway to the North Rim of the Grand Canyon, Jacob Lake Inn is just a short 45-minute drive away. Established in 1923, this family-owned and operated lodge offers cosy cabins and serves up delicious homemade cookies and pies.

Endlessly proud of its history and culture, you’ll spot locally-made native art, rugs, paintings and pottery throughout the hotel, with a beautiful trail just behind to explore. While its traditionally-styled bedrooms offer a trip back in time, each comes with the essentials like free WiFi and a TV. Some rooms also have kitchenettes, although the on-site restaurant is very popular.

While it’s not a luxury spot, it’s certainly a homely one: you’ll likely return from a day of exploring to live events from local musicians and storytellers.
