Biltmore Estate

Biltmore Estate FAQs

Find out all you need to know about visiting Biltmore Estate.

When is the best time to visit Biltmore Estate?

The best time to visit Biltmore Estate in North Carolina is between April and May and September to early November, when the weather is mild and ideal for exploring the estate’s spring blooms and autumn foliage. Expect daytime highs between 19°C and 25°C, and multiple seasonal events to take part in. Summer is the most popular time to visit as Biltmore’s location is less humid than other parts of the South thanks to its higher elevation. Expect crowds if you visit between June and August and be prepared for hotter temperatures up to 29°C. Winter brings cold temperatures and doesn’t offer the same horticultural splendour on the estate that you would get in other seasons, but Christmas at the estate is magical.
