Mount Vernon Bike and Boat Tour

Explore Old Town Alexandria just across the Potomac in Virginia, and visit the historic home of America’s first president, George Washington on this relaxed full-day tour. You’ll gain insight into the USA’s rich cultural heritage and witness some of the most well-known places from the nation’s early days.

The excursion will start in Alexandria’s charming and picturesque Old Town where you’ll ultimately collect your bikes and begin your journey along the Mount Vernon Trail up to George Washington’s former residence, Mount Vernon. Once you arrive, you’ll lock up your bike and explore the 18th century mansion, beautiful garden grounds, stables and more. Then, come early afternoon, you’ll board a Riverboat on the scenic Potomac River to take you back to Washington DC by late afternoon.
