Housed in the former Riggs National Bank, known as the “Bank of Presidents”, The Riggs Hotel is a luxury boutique hotel that pays homage to its heritage while offering modern amenities. A sophisticated hotel in Washington DC’s historic Penn Quarter, guests will admire its elegant style with marble columns, vaulted ceilings and brass details.

The hotel features unique rooms and suites, each designed in the style of a private safety deposit box and decorated with bespoke wallpaper and headboards. The hotel also offers a restaurant, a bar, a subterranean cocktail lounge and a rooftop event space. Guests can also wander through its many rooms to admire the curated art collection featuring local and international artists.

The Riggs doesn’t hold back when it comes to its amenities, either: there’s the fitness center with state-of-the-art equipment, Peloton bikes for enthusiasts of the brand, and a library with books, magazines and board games for cosy evenings.
