Step into the Historic Sheridan Inn and experience the charm and elegance of the Old West. Built in 1893 by the Chicago, Burlington and Quincy Railroad, the inn was designed by Thomas Kimball to resemble a Scottish hunting lodge. The inn was designated a National Historic Landmark by the U.S. Secretary of the Interior in 1964.

Each of its rooms is individually decorated and named after a Western legend. The rooms feature original wood floors, antique furniture and views of the Big Horn Mountains and the historic downtown. Despite its historic name and nature, Historic Sheridan Inn has a geothermal heating and cooling system that makes it one of the most energy-efficient buildings in Wyoming. It’s also home to a cosy bar, a spacious dining room and a series of events throughout the year to highlight its local heritage.
