Gage Hotel

A timeless gem that captures the rustic charm of Texas, the Gage Hotel offers picturesque grounds, warm hospitality, elegant Western interiors and excellent dining. Built in 1927, the hotel has updated its fittings to modern standards while preserving its original historic charm.  

Rooms and suites are uniquely decorated and come with stone tile walk-in showers and a private porch. In-room amenities include luxury linens and bath products, signature Gage Hotel robes, a hair dryer, a coffee maker complete with locally grown coffee beans and complimentary Wi-Fi. Guests can choose between rooms and suites spread across three different buildings: The Historic Hotel, Captain Shephard House and Los Portales which are ground floor adobe-style units that open directly onto a lush interior courtyard. Gage Hotel also offers a handful of Casitas which are individual, meticulously restored houses around Marathon that offer all the comforts and amenities of the hotel’s rooms and suites, but with an apartment style layout. 

On-site, Gage Hotel also has plenty to offer its guests. The hotel has an exceptional outdoor pool and lounge area, an excellent restaurant, a well-known bar and a luxury spa – all of which are well worth trying. A daily continental breakfast is available for an additional fee and parking is free.
