Trails wind through quiet pasture and pockets of woodland, offering gentle routes for beginners and slightly more adventurous paths for confident riders. When you’re not on horseback, you can join a hayride, cool off in the pool or wander the property’s open spaces, where the silence is broken only by birdsong.
Meals are hearty, sociable and served family-style in the main hall. Expect classic Texan cooking – slow-smoked brisket, fluffy biscuits, peach cobbler – often accompanied by live music or light-hearted evening entertainment.
