When is the best time to visit Telluride?

Benefitting from temperate summer temperatures and snowy winter weather, the best time to visit Telluride is during the high seasons of summer and winter.

From end May to early September, Telluride comes to life with countless outdoor festivals, many of which are worth attending and mild temperatures with highs generally not above 25C. Winter lasts from December to early April and ski lovers will enjoy the bountiful snowfall and world-renowned skiing trails when travelling this time of the year. Temperatures range from 5C during the day to -15C at night.

Spring and autumn are short and these months are generally used as an opportunity for hotels and restaurants to take a break from the summer and winter season rush.
