Sheridan Inn, BW Signature Collection

Part of the National Trust for Historic Preservation’s Historic Hotels of America, Sheridan Inn offers a unique experience that take guests back to the origins of the town during the Wild West. The Inn itself it simple, but fitted with all the amenities a visitor would need: an on-site restaurant offers well-rated casual dining; the lobby area features a cosy fireplace; and a gift shop sells local crafts and historical memorabilia. Wi-Fi, parking and breakfast are complimentary, and the staff are kind and take pride in their hotel.

Rooms at the Sheridan Inn pay homage to the hotel’s most famous guest, Buffalo Bill Cody, as well as other influential figures from his time. Guests can choose between 22 individually themed rooms, each combining classic Western charm with thoughtfully modernised comforts, and accommodating everyone from solo travellers to families. Rooms are fitted with air conditioning, a coffee maker, a telephone and a private bathroom which features either a shower or claw-footed bathtub and free toiletries.

Ideally situated about a block off Sheridan’s vibrant Main Street, guests are within easy walking distance to explore cultural landmarks, local museums, galleries, restaurants and craft breweries during their stay.
