700 Years Guided Tour of Mesa Verde National Park
On this 4-hour guided tour you will travel back in time with an NAI-certified interpretive guide exploring the 700 years of civilisation of the Ancestral Puebloan people in Mesa Verde National Park.
The tour stops at a variety of archaeological sites, taking visitors through a chronological view of the lives and culture of the Ancestral Puebloan people, and illustrating how the people adapted both their architecture and social structure to meet the changing needs of their society. Your guide will also discuss how their descendants inhabit the area to this day. The tour includes short hikes to archaeological sites along the Mesa Loop Road and finishes with a walking tour of Cliff Palace, the best known of all the Mesa Verde cliff dwellings, led by a National Park ranger.
