Ride Pikes Peak Cog Railway
Climb the 14,114 foot summit of the second most visited mountain in the world (after Mount Fuji in Japan), Pikes Peak, on a historic train ride with The Broadmoor, Manitou and Pikes Peak Cog Railway. Offering breath-taking 360-degree views, this 3-hour, 9-mile roundtrip adventure is one of Colorado’s most unique experiences, and is offered year round.
A range of scenery and wildlife await, and visitors will get to sit back and enjoy the scenic vistas of Ruxton Creek in Englemann Canyon, rumble past Minnehaha Falls, pass through Deer Park and turn into Mountain View siding for the first glimpse of the Pikes Peak summit, before ultimately arriving at the peak.
The downward journey is equally stunning, but visitors can optionally stay on the summit for hiking and/or mountain biking.
