Garden of the Gods Resort & Club

An AAA Four-Diamond resort perched on a mesa above Colorado Springs since 1951, with front-row views of the Garden of the Gods red rock formations and Pikes Peak – one of the most dramatically positioned hotels in the Rocky Mountain West.

The 116 rooms, suites, cottages, and casitas are spread across the mesa-top property, most with private patios or balconies and fireplaces; the one-to-three-bedroom casitas add full kitchens and outdoor fireplaces for families and longer stays.

Three outdoor pools, a children’s splash park, and the Strata Integrated Wellness Spa – with Himalayan salt saunas, experiential showers, and a full treatment menu – anchor the resort facilities. The 27-hole Kissing Camels Golf Course, six tennis courts with a pro shop, and a fitness centre with spin, Pilates, and movement studios round out the country club offer.

Three on-site restaurants serve breakfast through dinner, with al fresco terrace dining framing the red rock formations. The Rocks Lounge handles cocktails against the same backdrop. Garden of the Gods National Natural Landmark park is a two-minute drive, Pikes Peak is visible from most rooms, and the US Air Force Academy is under 25 minutes north.

Our expert's opinion

“We think the Garden of the Gods Resort earns its rates - the views, the spa, and the golf course combine to make it one of the most complete resort experiences in Colorado, sitting in a sweet spot between the Broadmoor's formality and something more relaxed.”
