Fairmont The Queen Elizabeth

In downtown Montreal, luxurious Fairmont The Queen Elizabeth is where John Lennon and Yoko Ono staged their famous ‘bed-in’ in 1969, and remains one of the top hotels in the city.

The hotel’s 950 rooms and suites are decorated with bold, colourful wallpaper, modern amenities and geometric wood furnishings that evoke the hotel’s vintage 1960s origins. Some suites offer kitchen facilities, living and dining areas, as well as wonderful views of the city. Guests can reserve the John Lennon Suite but be prepared to break the bank.

Rosélys Restaurant serves inventive gourmet cuisine, while there’s also a cocktail bar, coffee shop and artisan market. Treat yourself to some indulgence at the Moment Spa, and the hotel also has a grand ballroom and dozens of eclectic rooms, including a Swing Room for accessing your inner child.
