Muskoka Lakes is one of Ontario’s most beautiful regions with densely forested hills filled with deer, beavers, moose and blue herons.

More than 80 lakes are home to small, charming communities serving sumptuous food and drink – fruit, beer, wine and of course maple syrup are made here. You can visit many craft breweries and wineries in towns such as Bracebridge, Huntsville and Bala, known as the cranberry capital of Ontario.

There are great opportunities for hiking, cycling, canoeing and fishing in the natural surroundings. Highlights include hiking to the viewpoint from Huckleberry Rock, the three islands of Bala connected by bridges over waterfalls, the protected wilderness of Limberlost Forest and Wildlife Reserve, and the huge mosaic of the Port Carling Wall.
