Līhu’e FAQs
Līhu’e, like the rest of the island of Kaua’i, is renowned for its warm, sunny weather, but the best months to visit are between April and October, despite the island being a year-round destination.
Thanks to its location on the south-eastern part of Kaua’i, Līhu’e is not as affected by the annual November to March rainfall that keeps the northern part of the island so lush and green.
As with most of the state, December and January are peak tourist season in Kaua’i and best avoided.
What is the time difference between the UK and Līhu’e?
GMT – 10 hours. Daylight savings time is not observed.
What places combine well with Līhu’e?
Līhu’e is home to a small regional airport connecting the island of Kaua’i with the West Coast of the United States as well as the rest of the Hawaiian Islands – so one can easily island-hop. Līhu’e is also the gateway airport for anyone wanting to visit the beautiful ‘Garden Isle’ of Kaua’i.
