You’ll float or kayak – the choice is yours – 8 miles down the San Juan River, stopping for a picnic lunch on its peaceful banks, and take two short easy hikes. One will take you to one of the largest rock art panels in North America and the other will take you to a 1000 year old cliff dwelling where you’ll see remnants of an ancient thriving civilization.
