Hotel Santa Fe, Hacienda & Spa
A distinctive hotel that celebrates the rich cultural heritage of New Mexico, Hotel Santa Fe offers friendly hospitality, beautiful Pueblo-inspired architecture, an impressive collection of Native American art and a relaxed atmosphere in the heart of downtown Santa Fe.
Opened in 1991 and the only Native American-owned hotel in Santa Fe, the property is deeply connected to the Picuris Pueblo, with its traditions reflected throughout the hotel’s exquisite design, music, cuisine and art–including a multi-million dollar collection from New Mexico-based Native American artists.
Rooms and suites are decorated in a warm Southwestern style, with handcrafted natural pine furnishings, triple-sheeted beds and down comforters. Traditional Rooms feature either a king bed or two double beds, while the spacious Picuris and Santa Fe Suites offer separate living areas, sleeper sofas and additional amenities including robes and slippers, microwaves, in-room safes and complimentary Wi-Fi. For a more exclusive experience, The Hacienda offers 35 lavish rooms and suites, each featuring Native American artwork and décor, with upgraded bathrooms, plush robes and slippers and professional butler service. Hacienda guests also enjoy a complimentary daily breakfast and evening reception.
On-site, Hotel Santa Fe has plenty to offer its guests. Amaya restaurant serves contemporary cuisine inspired by local Pueblo and Northern New Mexican traditions, with fresh seasonal ingredients and a glass-enclosed patio overlooking the gardens. The Spa at Hotel Santa Fe offers a range of Native American-inspired massages, facials and body treatments, while the secluded outdoor pool and hot tub provide a relaxing place to unwind among lush gardens and Native American sculptures. Guests can also make use of the fitness centre and seasonal yoga classes.
Our expert's opinion
“Beautiful property with lovely staff and delightful dining. The location was great too, and the fact the hotel offered a complimentary shuttle service around town was very welcome.”
