Lundeen Inn of the Arts

A characterful gem that celebrates the art, history and hospitality of southern New Mexico, Lundeen Inn of the Arts is a beautifully restored Mexican Territorial inn in the historic district of Las Cruces. Blending Old World charm with Southwestern style, this century-old property is filled with an impressive collection of fine art, antiques and distinctive architectural details. The inn’s two guest houses are connected by a magnificent Great Room featuring dark wood floors, an eighteen-foot pressed-tin ceiling, an 1855 German piano and elegant Jacobean-style furnishings. 

Guest rooms are individually styled and each is named after a famous New Mexican or Native American artist, with artwork and furnishings giving each room its own character. Rooms feature air conditioning, private bathrooms, seating areas and complimentary Wi-Fi, while some also offer antique furnishings, four-poster beds or kitchenettes. Guests can also enjoy the peaceful garden and courtyard, providing a tranquil place to relax away from the city. 

On-site, Lundeen Inn of the Arts feels more like a private home and art gallery than a conventional hotel. The inn’s spacious gallery showcases an extensive collection of Southwestern artworks, while the Great Room provides a welcoming gathering space filled with historic character. The owners and staff provide a warm, personal service, and a delicious and generous cooked breakfast which is served every morning.
