Shaped by water over many hundreds of years, Antelope Canyon is easily recognisable with its wave-like curves, rich orange and yellow sandstone hues, and twisting narrow pathways. A marvel of Mother Nature, access to this stunning slot canyon is granted only with a Navajo guide thanks to its location in the Lake Powell Navajo Tribal Park on the Arizona-Utah border.

The canyon has two points of entry that showcase different geological features. In the Upper Antelope between March and October, beams of light cut into the canyon around midday, creating spotlights on the paths and illuminating the sandstone walls until they turn gold. A surreal sight for all who witness it, capturing this ethereal beauty is one of the main reasons people choose to visit. The Lower Antelope is equally stunning, and the unique sandstone geology is at its most impressive in the early morning or late afternoon when the colours are at their most vibrant.
