More than 400 art-deco-style rooms are filled with thoughtful touches including mattresses of organic cotton, lush plants, furniture from reclaimed oak, pine and teak, and filtered water taps, as well as walk-in marble showers, aircon, coffeemakers, fridges and TVs. Some add kitchenettes and ocean views from balconies or terraces.

The hotel has an award-winning spa with saunas and massage, and there’s direct access to a private white-sand beach.
