There’s arguably nowhere better to experience the Victorian Southern comfort of Natchez, Mississippi’s oldest city, than Devereaux Shields House. Check into either the Main House or the pet-friendly Aunt Clara’s Cottage and make yourself at home among antique furnishings, cosy fireplaces and spa-like bathrooms.

This 19th century inn is just a few blocks away from the scenic Mississippi River and is well-loved for its welcoming atmosphere and attention to detail.

At Devereaux Shields House you’ll find manicured gardens with a terrace, fountains, seating areas and paths to stroll. Every afternoon, guests relax in the garden sipping complementary lemonade, tea and snacks. You can also enjoy massages with music and aromatherapy, available upon request for a fee.
