Set on 258 acres of vineyards and oak tree groves, this luxury hotel has an exclusive rural location overlooking the Sonoma Mountains.

Montage Healdsburg is an idyllic retreat in the heart of Northern California’s wine country with contemporary bungalow-style accommodation, a huge spa and two gorgeous infinity pools.

Rooms built with organic materials have balconies or terraces offering forest, mountain or vineyard views, furnished with hardwood flooring, floor-to-ceiling windows, TVs, sofas and marble bathrooms with bathtubs and separate walk-in showers. Some suites have sofa-beds, living rooms and kitchenettes.

The 11,500-square-foot Spa Montage is a beautiful sanctuary to relax, with 11 treatment rooms, a fitness centre, yoga garden and pool.

The resort has three dining options, including Hazel Hills, which blends Californian and French cuisine with locally-sourced ingredients, an interactive expo kitchen and al fresco dining above the vines.

Montage Healdsburg is surrounded by hiking and cycling trails through stunning countryside. The resort offers guided hikes, bike hire and obligatory wine tastings.
