When is the best time to visit Pacific Rim?

Vancouver Island benefits from the mildest climate in Canada with westerly winds from the Pacific keeping it comfortably cool in summer (June-August) and mild in winter (November – March). The best time to visit is May to October, which is the best time for wildlife watching including whales and bears.

The Pacific Rim receives far more rainfall than the south of the island and is noticeably cooler in summer with an average summer temperate of 19 degrees and warmer in winter with an average of 8 degrees.

What is the time difference between the UK and Pacific Rim?

Vancouver Island is in the Pacific Time Zone (GMT -8:00) and switches to Pacific Daylight Time (GMT -7) on the second Sunday in March until the first Sunday in November.
