Icefields Parkway & Columbia Icefield

Enjoy incredible views of immense glaciers, waterfalls and shimmering mountain lakes and take exciting glacier hikes on this half-day excursion between Alberta’s Jasper and Banff national parks.

Highlights include Columbia Icefield, the largest ice field of its kind outside the poles, the Athabasca Glacier, and the Glacier Sky Walk, a stunning glass-floored observation platform 280 metres over the Sunwapta Valley. Other sightseeing stops include the Weeping Wall, Bow Lake, and the Crowfoot Glacier.

Visit the Columbia Icefields Centre for the opportunity to take part in the Glacier Adventure tour onto the Athabasca Glacier. Enjoy an interpretive exhibit or take a short guided walk to a scenic viewpoint.

Departures available from Banff or Jasper. Tour includes hot buffet lunch at the Columbia Icefield Glacier Discovery Centre.
