A dream destination for outdoor enthusiasts and film lovers alike, Red Cliffs Lodge offers a rare blend of rugged natural beauty and cinematic history. Set against some of Moab’s most dramatic scenery, the lodge features spacious suites and private cabins, each designed to showcase the stunning cliffs and winding Colorado River just beyond your window. An award‑winning property, Red Cliffs occupies a spectacular riverfront location where you can fall asleep to the sound of rapids and wake to the sunrise illuminating the red rock walls that surround the lodge. From here, guests enjoy effortless access to hiking trails, river adventures, and Moab’s legendary national parks.

Each accommodation is thoughtfully appointed with a kitchenette, comfortable living area, and a private patio, making it easy to unwind after a day of exploration. The interiors echo the spirit of the American West, featuring frontier‑inspired décor, rustic wood furnishings, and warm, earthy textiles, all complemented by modern amenities that add comfort without diminishing the lodge’s authentic charm.

Red Cliffs Lodge also proudly hosts the Moab Museum of Film and Western Heritage, a must‑visit for movie buffs. The museum houses a fascinating collection of memorabilia from classic Westerns and adventure films shot in and around Moab, titles such as Stagecoach, Rio Grande, and Thelma & Louise. Over the decades, the area has welcomed a long list of Hollywood icons, including John Wayne, Henry Fonda, and Tom Cruise, who stayed at the lodge while filming in the nearby canyons and mesas.

To complete the experience, guests can enjoy a glass of locally crafted wine from Castle Creek Winery, located right next door. With its tasting room overlooking the river and vineyards rolling toward the cliffs, it’s an idyllic spot to relax after visiting the museum or returning from the day’s outdoor adventures.
