Situated just an hour south of Los Angeles, Newport Beach is a small coastal city set around Newport Bay and Balboa Peninsula known for its attractive shoreline, tranquil bay, luxurious harbour and world-class dining. Offering visitors both leisure and luxury, this quintessential SoCal or Southern Californian town, is an excellent spot for sailing, paddle boarding, whale watching, hiking and coastal tours, including a daily ferry to the nearby Californian Channel Island of Santa Catalina. 

Much of the day-to-day life here is centred around the waterfront, from charming local businesses and restaurants and cafes focusing on fresh seafood and local ingredients to the town’s iconic pier, which has an old-school amusement park with a Ferris wheel and boasts beautiful ocean views. Just a few miles south at Crystal Cove State Park, visitors will find 3.2 miles of beautiful coastline and 18 miles of hiking trails within 2,400 acres of inland wilderness, while at the popular surfing spot, The Wedge, visitors can try their hand at catching some waves or watch the pros from the shore.
